Favorite Son is a band from San Antonio, Texas. The musical diversity of each member adds a different element to the band’s sound, resulting in something new, yet rooted in the classics. Our influences are found in alt-country, blues, jazz, and Latin music. After establishing a presence in the Texas music scene, including an album release at the Rustic, representing the San Antonio Music Showcase’s Blues stage, and holding monthly residencies at historical venues around town, the lead single “Pearl” was recorded at Matador Recording Studios and released across all streaming platforms.
